Event Details

Lois Jacobs will share her experiences of working with international businesses as President, International of a company with 15 offices in four continents and as a communications consultant advising multinationals. Topics she will cover include: --different styles of business - global versus local --different styles of management and communication --observations on the differences within some of the key geographic regions --how international leaders can achieve results through effective multi-cultural communication. Lois is President of Jack Morton Worldwide's International operations. In this role, she oversees the agency's presence in London, Beijing, Hong Kong, Sydney and Melbourne. Lois' career has been devoted to producing experiential communications for a diverse range of corporate clients. She also has particular expertise in mounting large public events engaging live and worldwide TV audiences. Most recently, she led the Jack Morton teams producing the Athens 2004 Olympic ceremonies, and will be doing so also for the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. In October 1988, Lois formed HP:ICM, where she was Chairman and Managing Director prior to its acquisition by Saatchi & Saatchi. She joined Jack Morton Worldwide in 2000.
